Our neighbor, a passionate collector of Italian ceramics, decided it was time to show off his fabulous collection. Time to bring them out of the cabinet and display them on his walls!
His desire to surround himself with his collection while keeping them safe from falling was his biggest priority. But it wasn’t so easy to find a sturdy and secure, adjustable bowl hanger.

Simple Step-By-Step Guide To Securely Attach Your Bowl To The Wall
Hanging a bowl on the wall with a Display Buddie can be a simple process if you follow these steps:
- Select the Right Size: Measure your Bowl’s diameter and height to choose a Display Buddie that best fits the size and weight of your bowl.
- Prepare the Bowl: Press the wire armatures against the bowl’s back to mold them to its concave shape, ensuring a snug fit.
- Attach the Display Buddie: Center the Display Buddie on the back of the bowl and tighten the cords by pulling them apart from each other, until secure. You can always repeat this step a couple of times to get the correct snug fit.
- Adjust the Cords: If necessary, wrap excess cord around the armature to keep it out of sight, or trim the ends—just leave enough length for future removal and rehanging. When finished, the back of your bowl should look like this:
- Prepare the Wall: Each Display Buddie has two or more natural “hooks” where the peak of the wire armature “W” is. Choose a spot on the wall and mark where you want this hook to be. Nail a picture hook calibrated for weight or a nail into this spot.
- Hang Your Bowl: Position the bowl against the wall and hang it on the picture hook or nail.
- Fine-Tune Placement: If the bowl doesn’t sit flat against the wall, adjust the hook section of the wire armatures outward slightly using needle-nose pliers for a better fit.
And voilà, your bowl is now safely and beautifully displayed on the wall!
